A membership organization for women held its first digital annual conference in summer 2020. The virtual event welcomed more attendees than their live conference typically does, with additional viewers watching sessions on-demand after the event.
The event celebrated the announcement of notable woman-owned businesses. Attendees tuned in to roundtable discussions and panels with honorees, as well as a Fireside Chat and Q&A with four of the 2020 honorees.
This was a full-service event for JDC, as we oversaw event design and strategy, platform management, design, and execution, exhibitor management and onboarding, design and execution of the sponsorship program, speaking onboarding, production of all recordings and streaming, and training and data analytics.
Conference features included a VIP meet and greet with an organizational psychologist and best-selling author; a VIP meet and greet with a well-known entrepreneur and investor; a virtual cocktail hour for Canadian members, and an executive roundtable on the impact of seismic behavior change on retail. Additional conference events included a welcome reception with wine instruction, a skincare demo, a meet and greet with honorees, swag bags, and a virtual thought leadership lounge and exhibit hall.
