Recently, a Fortune 100 Company called on JDC Events to create a high-level corporate retreat that was “50 percent work and 50 percent fun” for an international group of about 80 members, many of whom would be meeting in person for the first time.
To accomplish this event from start to finish, the JDC team sourced the city, hotel, and venues to host all events and coordinated all logistics surrounding the three-day retreat. The team provided the client with an extensive list of locations along the East Coast that would be easily accessible. After reviewing the available venues, they chose the Intercontinental Buckhead in Atlanta.
Next, the JDC team scouted Atlanta for engaging locations, organizing dinners and activities at unique venues such as The Roof at Ponce City Market, a rooftop venue with spectacular views of the Atlanta skyline. At The Painted Duck, guests relaxed with gourmet refreshments while playing the venue’s signature Duckpin Bowling and other games. For the final day, JDC Events coordinated a tour of Atlanta on The Peachtree Trolley. Attendees were driven through the city on a vintage trolley bus for a narrated tour of Atlanta landmarks such as the Beltline, MLK National Park, Midtown, Oakland Cemetery, and the fabulous Fox Theater.
After the event, both the client and attendees complimented the organization, smooth logistical coordination, and professional delivery of the JDC Events team.
