About This Project

The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) is a network that works to define global sets of patient-centered outcome measures as well as drive the adoption and reporting of those measures worldwide to unlock the potential of value-based healthcare.


Billed as the world’s largest value-based healthcare event, ICHOM’s annual conference draws leaders from public and private international healthcare organizations, industry groups, patient representatives, payers, and regulatory bodies. Ninety presenters and 800 delegates from 45 countries met in Boston on November 1-3, 2022 to engage in open dialogue on solving the healthcare crisis, creating the framework for change and improving care for all.


JDC Events provided in-country support for the London-based client through local expertise as well as flexibility to adapt to the changing landscape of events in the post-pandemic era. While hotel and AV services had already been contracted, JDC’s experienced staff was able to assist in renegotiating key items and contract concessions, resulting in cost savings.


Onsite, the JDC team provided management and logistical support for registration and attendee check-in and oversaw meeting room changes, confirming that spaces were cleared and ready for teach session and ensuring that all VIP-only sessions were set to ICHOMs standards. The JDC team also oversaw food and beverage setup, including kosher and halal meals from an outside vendor.
