JDC Events President and CEO Jennifer D. Collins offered her expertise on event planning in the New York Times article “How to Have Friends Over,” which outlines considerations for hosting an in-person gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Collins’ tips include a combination of physical distancing and mask wearing, in addition to reducing touch points and requiring guests to bring their own “everything.” She also suggested incorporating décor into the space to maintain a festive atmosphere.
